A tempting gift …

We took the champagne over to the coffee table and snuggled up on the sofa. There was a frisson in the air, but we knew we had all weekend, and, for once, neither of us seemed in a hurry. We talked about our weeks. It got around to our midweek meetings, and how good they were.
But we both admitted having to deal with certain frustrations after we parted. We thought we might relax the rules a bit. After a while, she asked coyly if I fancied doing anything, and when I agreed, she got up and went through to the bedroom.
“Marcus?” she said a few minutes later, still hidden in the hallway.
“Yes?”
“Close your eyes. And keep them closed.”
“OK.”
“No peeking. Don’t open them till I tell you.”
“OK.” I wasn’t going to cheat; not spoil the moment.
“Are they closed?”
“Yes.”
I heard her come in and walk towards me. She stopped in front of me, and I could hear some movement and shuffling.
“You can open your eyes now.”
As I did, my heart leapt. I took in the view in front of me. She was on the floor, sitting on her heels, looking up at me, smiling, with a hint of shyness. As my eyes worked their way down her body, they drifted over a black and red bustier, leading down to suspenders, stockings, a matching pair of knickers, and black heels. She had a black choker around her neck. I took a deep breath.
“Remind you of anything?” she asked.
“The picture.”
“Well?”
“You’re better.”
She laughed at the compliment.
“Except I’ve left the knickers on. I thought you might like to take them off for me.”
I just looked; stared really. She looked beautiful; innocent and wicked at the same time.
“Like what you see?”
“You know I do,” I said, almost in a whisper. “But I’d like to change one thing.”
“What’s that?”
I reached forward, placed my hands behind her neck and undid the choker. I sat back a little weighing it in my hand.
“We both know what this can mean. And we both know you’re never going to wear one full time; neither of us want that. But at some point in the future, you may want to wear one occasionally. For a few hours. Let’s save it for then; so that it really means something. Fair?”
She looked thoughtful; looked at me, looked at the choker.
“I didn’t really think about it,” she said softly. “I was just copying the picture. But now you put it like that …” That beautiful passion appeared in her eyes. “Yes. Fair.”
I laid the choker on the table and bent down to kiss her. She returned my kiss before pulling away.
“I’ve got a present for you.”
I looked down at her, allowing my eyes to run over her body.
“Another one?” I replied.
She reached behind her back and brought out a bag. It was velvety, with a drawstring. About twelve inches long.
“I thought it was about time we started our toy collection.”
She handed it to me. I took it and opened the top. Reaching in I drew out a flogger, a nice one. Suede; solid plaited handle, with a thick bunch of fronds about twelve inches long. I put it in my hand and ran my fingers along it. I looked up; her eyes were sparkling.
“I think we’re ready for the next step, don’t you?” she asked.
“Yes, I do.”
“So, where do you want me?”
“Well, I think I need to warm you up a bit before we move to this.”
